Win a copy of FDT

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

If you are coding in ActionScript 2.0, you have undoubtedly heard of FDT, or the Flash Development Tool, which is a plugin for the Eclipse editor. FDT brings many high level development features, such as those usually seen in professional Java tools, to the ActionScript developer. This is a high quality commercial product, but the people at PowerFlasher, creators of FDT, are holding a raffle with each user group, to give away a free license. To enter, click on the link below and submit your name and info. Good luck!

FDT-Raffle

This raffle is mainly for BFPUG members, but what that means is a little vague, since we don’t have an official membership or anything. Let’s say that if you have ever attended a BFPUG meeting, you are a member.

New BFPUG Mailing List

Thursday, November 16th, 2006

After searching around for a decent php-based mailing list software for the BFPUG Mailing List, I decided it was easier just to start a Yahoo group. We’ll have a mailing list just like before, plus other questionably useable features like calendar, photos, files, links, database, etc.

I sent out an invitation to everyone who was already on the list, but even if you don’t get that, you can just go to the following address and sign up:
