February Meeting Report

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006

We had a good meeting. More than 40 attendees. Scott and Alessandro gave a VERY thorough overview of the Flash Lite platform. Personally I learned a lot, and will be checking when Verizon will allow me to purchase a new phone. You can bet it’s gonna be a Flash Lite 1.1 pre-installed unit!

Here’s a few photos:

Special thanks to Michelle Yaiser:

Michelle got us the space, which we now have each month for the rest of the year, if we want it. NEIA also has a video unit run by the school which can record, live-broadcast, and host video of the meetings. They have offered this service to BFPUG, and I think we are going to take them up on this next month.

Meetings and Mailing List are Open to Anyone

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006

I just wanted to make it clear, since people often ask, that tonight’s meeting, like all BFPUG’s meetings, is open to anyone. There is no need to register, sign up, reserve a seat, RSVP, or pay admission. Just show up.

Similarly, anyone can sign up for the mailing list. Just click and add your address and you’re in.

I hope to see a lot of people tonight!
